There has been a film released discussing my favourite word “Fuck”
Now for those who have known me for a long time, a little while or since 9am this morning will realise that I have a penchant for the word “Fuck” (among others)
I am happy to announce that there has been a film released discussing the word “Fuck”
This isn’t just a crass excuse to be childish and gloat about a film using that word; but the film is an intelligent, balanced discussion regarding the roots; ethics and religious implications of the word “Fuck”
It is a great discussion; it is a film worth watching. It does (admittedly) include many of my heroes:
Billy Connolly; Hunter S Thompson; Kevin Smith; George Carlin; William Shakespeare and TS Elliot
But is backed up by Christians; The FCC, George W and others who think using the word “Fuck” means you have a limited vocabulary or that you are unintelligent
It is a great film; intelligent, objective and not judgmental leaving you, the viewer, to make the decision yourself
Anyone who has a love of the English language should watch this film, and make your own decisions
To finish I will quote one of my heroes, Billy Connolly “There is no such thing as bad language; just bad use of good language”
Anyway, enjoy the fucking film
