Ok, I have been looking at the news sites and it amazes me of what goes into the swearing in of the new US President.

The one thing that makes me smile is this: at 12.01pm the lead Secret Service Agent moves from behind George W Fuckwit to stand behind Barack Obama, signaling the change of Presidency.

There are 40,000 security troops, including police, army and SS.

There are 2,000,000 people in Washington DC to see it (Bush was excelerated away as he was pelted with tomatos or is it tomatoes)

The World is holding their breath, here, in the UK, the Commonwealth and to many places to mention, waiting for the change…. but are we hoping for too much too soon?

I am over the moon, estactic for the change. Many of you know who know me, and read this blog, that I hate Bush, not just hate him but think he is the devil. But I am open-minded that it will take time to change 8 years of idiocy!

So, it is a time of change, not just in the US, but in the world too

I will raise a glass tomorrow to Barack Obama and keep hoping that what he promises will come true.

So all I can say is “Bush is dead, Bush is dead”

I hope, pray and hope, that 2009 is the sea of change…..

I presume I am not alone it how I am feeling now; it is finally over. Hopefully the promises of change are true.

Couldn’t be any worse though could it? I had BBC News website running behind my work today, updating automatically as the results came in, and what results.

349 Electoral College votes to 162; now is that what is called a good result? Not only that, Obama also won the populous vote by 7,000,000 votes. He is the true US president, won fair and square, not like the last lying, cheating bastard.

It is finally over, Bush is finished, no longer is the US president a joke, no longer is the US president an idiot, no longer will we be taken into war by lies, lies and more lies.

However, so much has been put on Obama’s shoulders that he will need to impress from Day 1, not an easy task when you look at what he has to start with.

So I hold my breath waiting, and lets hope Obama is as good as we think hope he is.

It’s 11pm (ish) and tomorrow (today) is the US election, and I hope, more than ever before, that we have a change.

I am an Obama supporter, I think he is a norm (13 yrs older than me, and seems like one of the normals in the world)

It has been 8 years of having a President of the greatest country (actually not sure they are anymore, China seems to be winning) that had the IQ of a warm pile of sick.

The Australian news has been very vocal in its coverage of the election, when I see a 70 year old in Arizona (not the most PC state in the US) support Obama I feel hopeful….. then again we are talking about a country that re-elected a President that originally got in by lying his stupid, war-mongering arse off

So here to tomorrow; a change for the better. A better world? A better economy? Or am I just thinking that the silver lining on the cloud is thicker than it is….. we are speaking about the US, are they ready for a black President….. I fucking hope so, because another 4 years of a white bread redneck will be shocking.

Speak to me this time tomorrow, the world is about to change…. and change (hopefully) for the better.

PS. I will be keeping an eye on the stock exchanges tomorrow and the weeks after; anyone else thinks they may be on the up?
